Access Control System TLD

The TLD™ Access control system offers a unique solution of access to buildings. Instead of many various locks and appropriate keys, which the users must always carry with them, only one identification medium is now sufficient to be used at all places connected into the system.

TLD

The identification medium – a chip or a card is applied to the reading terminal that identifies it and delivers the information to the control unit TLD-L(E). The TLD-L(E) unit evaluates the given medium and switches or refuses to switch the relay that controls the lock, lift, alarm or another connected device.

The TLD™ system offers also the complete attendance control, it can distinguish the time of contact and different kinds of passage (arrival, departure for lunch, business trip, medical treatment etc.).

    Advantages of system TLD

  • long service life
  • low purchase costs
  • “construction kit” variability of use
  • compatibility of contact and contactless admittance
  • easy installation
  • safety guarantee of entry systems
  • singularity of identification mediums
  • comfortable software with a number of functions
  • flexible users rights setting

Parts of the system

1) Identification medium

Identification medium substitutes a standard key and identifies its bearer by the contact with reading terminal. Two kind of medium are offered: contact and contactless.

Contact system

cip_klicena

The chip iButton DS 1990-F5 is product of the company Maxim/DALLAS. Every chip has its own code – its inimitableness is guaranteed by the producer.

Contactless system

privesek_TLD

Contactless medium works in long band frequency 125 kHz. It is the bearer of individual 64-bit code which inimitableness is quaranteed by the producer. For its shape it is used also for example as an identity card.

2) Reading terminal

Reading terminal (usually placed by the entrance) is connected with central process unit. It reads data from applied identification mediums and signals the decision of central process unit about authorisation or refusal of admittance.

Contactless reading terminal for identification cards or pendants.

Contact reading terminal

st-d2

Contact reading terminal for iButton chip.

3) Central process unit

The central processing unit is the “headquarters” of the whole system. It serves to interconnect all the modules with aim to check the competence for admittance, to decide about entrance permit or refusal and possibly to record the users motion. The unit activity is possible to extend by additional functions and attach some complementary modules. Central process unit is identical for contact and contactless system.

TLD-LN

Controls only access system.

Central process unit TLD-LE-N

TLD-LE

Besides access system control it is able to register recordings aboutindividual passing in time and thus gives the basis to attendance system.

4) Data adapters

Data adapter unit is electronic device connected to the PC, which serves to transfer recorded data from central process unit to PC and to assign admittance rights to the evaluation program.

5) Data chip

datovy_cip

Data chip transfers information about realised events between central process unit and PC. And updates time in central process unit. It is used only by the off-line version of the contact system.
Data chip is similar to identification chip. It is created by the same iButton technology of the company MAXIM/DALLAS. Moreover, it is equipped by the memory RAM which enables to keep and transfer the data.
