TMS dataloggers measure soil moisture as well as air and soil temperature using three temperature sensors and one soil moisture sensor. With long battery life and large internal memory, they operate autonomously and require minimal maintenance in long-term field deployments.

A potentiometer-based point dendrometer for precise automatic measurement of stem diameter changes with sub-μm resolution. It also measures air temperature through an integrated thermometer and is designed for long-term deployment in harsh outdoor conditions.
