TMS Installation Tool
The TMS Installation Tool is a durable metal knife designed to make a clean pilot hole in the soil before inserting the TMS datalogger. This reduces force on the sensor and helps prevent damage during installation.
How to use
- 1. Push the tool into the soil to the required depth (a hammer can be used if the soil is hard).
- 2. Remove the tool to leave an opening in the soil.
- 3. Insert the TMS datalogger into the hole by hand.
Important
Do not use a hammer to insert the TMS datalogger. Using the tool first protects the logger and ensures safer, more reliable installation.
